Every week I will post the homework assignments for the week. Homework will be started during math class and finished at home. Homework gives students the opportunity to practice skills and counts toward twenty percent of a student's grade. Homework must be completed and turned in on the day it is due. All work must be shown always, unless the book says use mental math. Students will receive a zero if they do not show their work. Late assignments will receive zero credit unless they are due to an absence. Students have as many days as they missed to complete work. (i.e. If a student misses three days, they have three days to complete the work.)Composition books will be used to record learning objectives, essential vocabulary, problem examples and/or math rules, so that students can refer to their notes for homework or projects and use them as a study guide for tests. |
